Jaimi Michelle Groothuis

Jaimi was born and raised in Southern California. She comes to BMG with a strong passion for serving her community and those with special needs. Jaimi received her undergraduate degree from UCLA, where she focused on working with disabled individuals through the UCLA Autism Project and the LA Unified School District.

Following graduation Jaimi pursued a successful career in the high tech industry where she most recently worked with college and university disability centers around the country supporting their efforts to leverage technology, strengthen ADA compliance and expand accessibility.

Jaimi completed her law degree at night while working full time. She graduated from Concord University in the top 10% of her class, and was awarded the honor "Best Oral Advocate." Following law school, Jaimi specialized in workers compensation and civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, wrongful death, defective products, and toxic tort liability.

Jaimi is an active member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, where she serves on the Drug Court committee assisting women with business etiquette skills such as how to draft a resume and dress for interviews as they prepare to enter the job market.
